About One-Third of US Holocaust Survivors Are At Risk or Live in Poverty. KAVOD Aims to Change That.

Photographer John Pregulman has made it his mission to capture images of as many Holocaust survivors as possible, and behind each picture is a story to be told. He shared some of those stories with us. His wife, Amy Israel Pregulman, is the executive director and co-founder of KAVOD, an advocacy group helping survivors through the day-to-day struggles they have meeting or obtaining essential needs and services.
